Terese Rogers resides in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where she was born and raised. Prior to beginning her career as an artist, Terese worked as an art therapist – encouraging people to use art as a medium to discover and heal. In 2007, Terese began to study with Anthony Waichulis at the Ani Art Academy. She completed her studies in 2013.
Upon completion of her studies, Terese opened the West River Street Studio where she fosters the talents of her students through realism course work. She is also an adjunct professor at Luzerne County Community College where she teaches a range of studio art courses.
Her work has received awards including honorable mention and finalist awards from the Art Renewal Center and finalists awards from The Artist Magazine. Terese's work has been featured in various publications including The Artist Magazine, Strokes of Genius and American Arts Quarterly. Her work is collected both nationally and internationally including the permanent collection of Museu Europeu d'Art Modern (MEAM) Barcelona, Spain, the Maslow Collection and the Waichulis Family Collection.
Terese exhibits her work at Lovett's Gallery, Tulsa Oklahoma and Mainstreet Galleries, Kingston, Pennsylvania. Her past exhibits include Reh's Contemporary Gallery , New York City, Art Basil, Miami and Galeria L'Oeil du Prince , Paris.
